Project Triveria began with two SMU students who were driven by a budding passion to serve the community in Vietnam. Throughout the challenges encountered since its inception, Project Triveria has always been grounded in its founding principles. It aims to create an experience that allows its members to discover and develop themselves whilst working towards leaving positive and lasting contributions for the beneficiaries.
Triveria hopes to inculcate a tripartite
of values amongst our participants:

Collaboration
Nobody is perfect. But here at Triveria, we believe in synergy and unity: in the course of our journey, we hope to rally individuals of varied and diverse capabilities and encourage them to share their ideals and cooperate towards a greater good.

Passion
We here at Triveria also look beyond capabilities. Talent is at its most valuable when accompanied by compassion; and we hope that the sojourn to a country much less developed than ours will nurture in our participants a passion to contribute to the lives of the less fortunate.

Community
Last but not least, Triveria also hopes to rout criticisms of 'voluntourism': We aim to leave behind a legacy that persists beyond the brief duration of our stay. In addition, Triveria looks forward to not only imparting, but also receiving meaningful lessons from the community with whom we interact with.
